Definition and function of electronic antenna
With the development of the times, the Internet era is more and more widely used. Now wireless is a household name. Today, electronic antenna manufacturers take you to see the era of the Internet.
As we know, radio equipment such as communication, radar, navigation, radio and television transmit information through radio waves, which need to be radiated and received. In radio equipment, the device used to radiate and receive radio waves is called an antenna. The antenna provides the required coupling between the transmitter or receiver and the medium that propagates radio waves. Antenna, like transmitter and receiver, is also an important part of radio equipment.
The antenna radiates radio waves and receives radio waves. However, what the transmitter sends to the antenna through the feeder line is not radio waves, and the receiving antenna cannot send radio waves directly to the receiver through the feeder line, which requires energy conversion. Let's take radio communication equipment as an example to analyze the signal transmission process, and then explain the energy conversion function of the antenna.
At the transmitting end, the modulated high-frequency oscillation current (energy) generated by the transmitter is input to the transmitting antenna through the power feeding device (the power feeding device can directly transmit current waves or electromagnetic waves depending on the frequency and form). The transmitting antenna converts the high-frequency current or guided waves (energy) into radio waves - free electromagnetic waves (energy) to radiate to the surrounding space (see Fig. 1); At the receiving end, radio waves (energy) are converted into high-frequency currents or guided waves (energy) through the receiving antenna and transmitted to the receiver through the power feeding device. From the above process, it can be seen that the antenna is not only a device that radiates and receives radio waves, but also an energy converter, which is an interface device between circuit and space.
Antenna is an indispensable thing for our network signal, whether it is wired or wireless, it plays an important role.
